What is the average monthly rate to store a motorhome?

It really depends on where you're at in the country. It depends on the city, state, and overall geographic location. But, the national average for RV storage is anywhere from $50 a month to $500 a month. It also depends on the type of recreational vehicle you're looking to have stored. The larger the vehicle, the higher the monthly cost to store your RV. One of the things that KC RV Storage prides itself on is our rates. We've set out to provide outstanding customer service and safe and secure storage capabilities all for an affordable monthly rate! We've also been noted quite a few times by local publications as being the most affordable storage facility in Kansas City. That is a designation that we're very proud of, and don't plan on changing anytime soon! 

When it comes to our facility, our prices start off at $40 a month and as high as $120 a month depending on the length and size of your motorhome, travel trailer. 

Why do people use storage facilities to store their RV's?

Often times, people are handcuffed into finding storage for their  motorhome because their HOA doesn't allow for them to keep them in their driveway. But, we believe that the choice to store an RV shouldn't be one that you're forced into doing, but rather one that you are excited to do. We get this question all the time, and we totally understand why. People are putting their hard earned dollars into these motorhomes and they want to make sure that nothing bad is going to happen to them! We get it! What we can say, knock on wood, is that our record speaks for itself. In or 15+ years in business, we've never had a single instance of theft or vandalism at our self-storage location. We are firm believers that this didn't happen by accident, but rather or continual commitment to security at or facility. Over the years we've updated our security camera system 4 times as new and improved technologies come into the market place. We have large flood lights that illuminate our facility all hours of the night, and a large gated fence surrounding are entire property. We make it well known to potential vandals and thieves that our location is not to be messed with! We have large signs surrounding our facility stating that we have 24/7/365 security cameras and our flood lights speak for themselves! What makes our facility better than the rest is that we designed it specifically for RV storage and it shows.
